Do It YourselfNarrow Gunnel Model

The narrow gunnel model is designed to be installed in boats with standard gunnels. That is, boats with the top of the boat sides being around 2 inches (approx. 50mm) wide or less. They are designed to bolt directly to boats floor and support all functions normally found on bulky centre or side consoles. Standard features include quality ULTRAFLEX steering boxes (rated to 200hp or 7mt boat), steering wheel, 2 X tabs for fitting of GPS, sounder, provision for gauges and switches and throttle mounting plate.

There is NO modification required to boat as console is totally self supported by a sturdy mounting plate bolted directly to boat floor.

Easily installed by the average handyman or woman in a couple of hours with tools required being an electric drill, a few spanners and screw driver.

Do It YourselfWide Gunnel Model

The other DIY model in the standard range is the Wide gunnel model. This model displays all the features of the narrow gunnel model, but is designed to be fitted to boats with wide gunnels. That is, boats with there top of sides having a wide top surface of 3 to 12 inches (75 to 300mm) with internal coaming running around the inside edge of the boat.

The wide gunnel model simply bolts to this internal coaming and an included telescopic leg is lowered to the boats floor and screwed in place, making an extremely sturdy mount for the swinging section of the console.

The Under gunnel model is a custom fit model that requires your boat to be brought to the workshop for custom installation. Please call for advice on the most suitable model for your boat. Sorry, requires expert installation.
